报告摘要:
  Debris flows that entrain sediment by undermining channel beds or scouring channel banks can become exceptionally mobile and destructive. Therefore, the calculation of entrainment plays an important role in debris flow runout analysis. An analytical entrainment model is proposed that takes into account surface erosional effects by considering progressive scouring and shear failure on the channel surface. To understand the entrainment process in granular flow, a flow channel was setup using a Discrete Element Method (DEM) model. The analytical entrainment model is also incorporated into a runout model to study an extremely large rock avalanche occurred on April 9, 2000 at Yigong Tibet, China. Measurements obtained from site investigation are used to verify the model.
 
报告人简介:
  康超博士,2016毕业于加拿大阿尔伯塔大学获博士学位,其后执行博士后的研究,任研究助理和研究员。主要研究方向为滑坡泥石流运动过程模拟以及隧道非开放过程中的岩土力学问题,在International Journal of Geomechanics (ASCE), Landslides, Earth Surface Processes and Landform, Engineering Geology, geomorphology等期刊发表论文十余篇。并担任International Journal of Geomechanics (ASCE), International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics和Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology等期刊的审稿人。
