土木工程与力学学院暨西部灾害与环境力学教育部重点实验室学术报告——AnttiStenvall

　　应土木工程与力学学院、西部灾害与环境力学教育部重点实验室邀请，芬兰坦佩雷理工大学(Tampere University of Technology) Antti Stenvall教授于2018年8月13-23日来我校进行学术交流并做学术报告，欢迎广大师生参加。

 

 

 

 

　　Antti Stenvall was born in Jyva?skyla?, Finland, in 1981. He received M.Sc. and Dr.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Tampere University of Technology, Tampere, Finland, in 2005 and 2008, respectively. In 2004, he joined the Institute of Electromagnetics, Department of Electrical Engineering (currently Laboratory of Electrical Energy Engineering in Faculty of Computing and Electrical Engineering), Tampere University of Technology. In 2011, he spent seven months with the Institute for Technical Physics, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany, as a Visiting Scientist. Since 2011 he has been leading his research group in Modelling and Superconductivity which currently hosts three post-docs, two doctoral students and one master student. He has been Adjunct Professor since 2013. His current research interests include the modeling of large-scale superconducting magnets and fundamentals of superconductor modelling. He received Best doctoral thesis in the field of Electromagnetism at Tampere University of Technology in 2008； the European Society for Applied Superconductivity Prize for Young Researcher 2011 in the “Large Scale” category，IEEE Council on Superconductivity Van Duzer Prize 2014 (Awarded to the best contributed paper published in IEEE Trans. Appl. Supercond. during each volume year)；IOP Publishing Outstanding Reviewer Award 2016 (in Supercond. Sci. Technol). He was the member of the International Organization Committee of School on Numerical Modelling of Superconductors (since 2014) and Member of the International Organization Committee of International Conference on Magnet Technology (since 2016). He was the guest editor in Supercond. Sci. and Technol in 2016 and the editor of the proceedings of European Conference on Applied Superconductivity in 2017.
